Sunscreen

Following any laser treatment, your skin can be sensitive. Sensitive skin is vulnerable to direct sunlight and may burn easier. To avoid this, be sure to wear protection from the sun until your skin is in full health.

Avoid trauma

We hate to tell someone that they can't do something, but we do recommend staying away from anything which could cause you discomfort. Things to avoid for at least 48 hours are: hot showers, steam rooms & sauna's. Waxing, tweezing or further laser treatments should be avoided until your skin is back to full health. Ice packs can help cool any skin that me be prone to itching.

Before treatment

Avoid any skin treatments if you are on blood thinning or anti-biotics. Space out your laser sessions to reduce stress to the skin. Shave two days before the removal procedure & avoid sunburn and tanning to reduce any discomfort during the procedure.
